SOLUBILITY: Soluble in water. The solubility of MAP in water is 154g/l at 25C/77F (that's at most 15.4%), Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Ethanol.

Calculations

HOW TO CALCULATE 6% 50ML MAP:

CALCULATION FOR MAP: 6 × 50 ÷ 100 = 3 GM

CALCULATION FOR DISTILLED WATER: 50-3 = 47 ML

It is important to note that MAP should be dissolved slowly and gently to prevent degradation or decomposition. It is recommended to dissolve it with constant stirring and a low heat source to avoid overheating the solution.

Formulation Guidelines
-Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) may discolor in formulations with a pH below 6, so is best used in products with a final formulation pH between 6.0 - 7.0.

-The solubility of MAP in water is 154g/l at 25C/77F (that's at most 15.4%)

-MAP is stable at 80C/176F for up to 20 hours; this means that it should withstand heating to this temperature for short periods in formulations without a problem.  Therefore, it can be added to the water phase prior to heating.

-You can also predisperse it in a small amount of distilled water and add at the end of the formulation process.

-If you're having trouble dissolving MAP in water, warming the solution to about 40°C (104°F) will help.

How to use (Formulation Guide)

MAGNESIUM ASCORBYL PHOSPHATE FORMULATION GUIDE 

ingredients:

-2% Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate
-70% Distilled Water
-25% Hyaluronic Acid Solution
-2% Glycerin
-0.5% Preservative (e.g., Optiphen or Germaben II)

Instructions:

-Start by ensuring your workspace and equipment are clean and sanitized.

-In a mixing container, combine the distilled water and hyaluronic acid solution. Stir gently until well-mixed.

-Add the Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate to the mixture and continue stirring until it is fully dissolved.

-Slowly add the glycerin to the mixture while stirring continuously.

-Finally, add the preservative and mix well to ensure proper preservation of the product.

-Transfer the formulation into a sterilized bottle or container for storage.

Usage:

Apply a small amount of the product to clean, dry skin, focusing on areas of concern or the entire face. Gently massage until absorbed. Use it in your skincare routine, preferably in the morning or as directed by your skincare professional.
