SOLUBILITY: Freely soluble in water and methanol.. In water, ethyl
ascorbic acid has a solubility of about 50 mg/mL at room temperature.

OPTIMAL PH RANGE: 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid is much stable at a
pH range between 5-6.5

FORMULATION GUIDE: It is recommended that dissolve 1g 3-O-ethyl
ascorbic acid in 1g citric acid buffer (pH 5.5) and then add to the water phase.

HOW TO CALCULATE 3% 50ML ETHYL ASCORBIC:

CALCULATION FOR ETHYL ASCORBIC ACID: 3 × 50 ÷ 100 = 1.5 GM

CALCULATION FOR DISTILLED WATER: 50-1 .5 = 48.5 ML

ETHYL ASCORBIC ACID FORMULATION GUIDE:
Simple formulations:

Ingredients:

1% Ethyl Ascorbic Acid
5% Glycerin
2% Propylene Glycol
1% Sodium Hyaluronate
0.5% Xanthan Gum
90.5% Water
Instructions:

In a mixing container, combine glycerin and propylene glycol, and mix well.
Add ethyl ascorbic acid and stir until dissolved.
Add sodium hyaluronate and xanthan gum, and mix well.
Slowly add water while mixing until the formulation is well blended and homogenous.
Adjust the pH to the desired range using citric acid or sodium hydroxide.


Advanced formulations:

Ingredients:

2% Ethyl ascorbic acid
5% Emulsifying wax
10% Squalane
3% Glycerin
0.5% Xanthan gum
0.5% Sodium hyaluronate
0.5% Vitamin E
78.5% Distilled water
Instructions:

In a heat-resistant container, combine the emulsifying wax and squalane, and heat until the wax is fully melted.
In a separate container, mix the glycerin, xanthan gum, sodium hyaluronate, and vitamin E.
Add the distilled water to the container with the glycerin mixture, and stir until fully dissolved.
Slowly pour the water mixture into the container with the melted wax and squalane, while stirring continuously.
Once the two mixtures are fully combined, allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
Once the mixture has cooled, add the ethyl ascorbic acid and stir until fully dissolved.
Transfer the mixture into a suitable container for storage.
